Tech Made Clear: Ishra's iPhone 17e Analysis
Apple's launch message for the iPhone 17e is simple: "Say hello to a good buy."
For years, Indian consumers faced a familiar dilemma: base iPhones came with 128GB of storage, requiring a ₹10,000 to ₹15,000 upcharge just to get a comfortable 256GB capacity. The iPhone 17e changes the equation:
- Storage starts natively at 256 GB (no 128GB tier).
- Powered by Apple's flagship 3nm A19 silicon (not an older rebadged processor).
- Weighs just 169 grams — making it one of the lightest, most comfortable daily drivers Apple has ever produced.
- And with Amazon's stacked festive coupons and bank discounts, the ₹79,900 sticker price drops to a net ₹67,499.
Here is our complete lab breakdown covering camera optics, MagSafe speeds, and financing calculations.
